This policy explains what personal data Viko (“we”, “us”) collects when you usevikostudio.com, and what we do with it.

1. What we collect

  • Account data — your email address, and an account identifier, when you sign up.
  • Your projects — the customizations you make (text, colours, images you upload) so you can return to them.
  • Purchase data — which template licences and subscriptions you hold. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
  • Technical data — IP address and basic request data, used for security and rate limiting.

You can browse and customize templates without an account. We ask you to sign in only when you buy, publish, or save to your account.

2. Why we use it

  • To provide the customizer, save your work, and deliver what you purchased.
  • To process orders and honour your licences and subscriptions.
  • To prevent abuse of our AI and upload endpoints.
  • To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors to run the service:

  • Polar — Merchant of Record; processes payments, billing, and tax.
  • Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
  • OpenAI — powers the optional AI copywriting and colour features; receives only the text you submit to those features.
  • Vercel and Cloudflare — application hosting and site delivery.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember whether you have an active session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Retention

We keep account and project data while your account is active. Purchase records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal data, except records we must retain by law.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we will action it.

7. International transfers

We operate from Taiwan and our processors may store data in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
