Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Viko (“we”, “us”), the website atvikostudio.com, our template marketplace, the online customizer, and any managed hosting we provide. By using Viko or buying from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. What we sell

Viko sells digital products and services:

• Website templates — self-contained HTML/CSS/JavaScript websites you customize and download.
• Managed hosting — an optional recurring subscription to publish and host a site you built with a Viko template.
• Launch Package — a single payment combining one template licence with twelve months of managed hosting. After those twelve months, hosting continues at the then-current monthly rate unless you cancel.
• Custom work — bespoke design and development, quoted separately.

All products are digital and nothing is physically shipped. Current prices are listed on ourpricing page and shown again at checkout before you pay.

2. Payments and merchant of record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Polar, which is the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Polar handles payment processing, billing, and applicable sales tax or VAT, and its terms apply to the transaction. Charges may appear on your statement under Polar's name.

3. Licence

When you buy a template licence, we grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence to use that template for one end website, which you may modify freely. You may use it for yourself or for a client.

You may not:

• resell, redistribute, or sublicense the template files as a template, theme, or website builder;
• include them in a product whose main value is the template itself;
• claim authorship of the original template design.

Buy an additional licence for each additional end website.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to text, images, logos, and other content you add. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to everything you upload, and that it is lawful. We may remove content or suspend an account for unlawful or abusive use.

5. AI features

The customizer offers optional AI assistance for copywriting and colour suggestions. AI output is generated automatically, may be inaccurate, and is provided as a starting point — review it before publishing. To provide these features, the text you submit is sent to our AI provider.

6. Managed hosting

Hosting subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend hosting for non-payment, or for content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, add, or discontinue templates and features. If we materially change these Terms, we will update this page and revise the date above.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Viko is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profit. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
